The critical thinking process is one of the most important things you can have when you start your journey in college as well as the college work time. But I have found that most of my students lack these simple skills and the ability to research just lost them. The caveat with critical thinking is creative thinking. The main reason for this cooperation is to think critically, one needs to be able to think creatively. For the purposes of this article, we are going to talk about in the field of critical thinking; to gather information, analyze and explain information and meta information.

First we’re going to talk about gathering information and how we can use this method in the university setting. Information comes at us in a raw form and we are bombarded every day with tons and tons of information. How do we decide what is legitimate information and what is other information? Especially in college when you will learn about models and theories as well as concepts and processes. Here are three tips to help you analysis effectively to gather information for a paper or project.

My personal recommendation to avoid most esteemed is to use resources that are academic in nature and respected. This will keep you away from wiki pages or something that’s just watch some and has not been proven experience.

last step is to evaluate the information. You have collected and analyzed material and reviewing the examples it and value. Now it’s time to assess whether an idea or a piece of this information is important to the paper or project. If you decide it is not a valid representation of your task, put it aside and continue to work on the task. It’s like working again, you have all the experience and positions advertised but you want to include data relevant to a specific job want to apply.
If you follow these simple easy steps in critical thinking, you will have the upper hand when it comes to university studies. Just keep in mind, research on any level is not easy, but it can be fun if you do it right and follow the general approach.
