Understanding your GPA
throughout high school and college, your class will work together to form your GPA. Semester grades in high school you used on your copies. Semester grades are used to calculate annual GPA and final GPA website. Semester grades are also grades that the college will see when they look at your backups. GPA is usually noted at the bottom of a copy as well. Here’s how it works:
o A = 4 points
o B = 3 points
o C = 2 points
o D = 1 point
o F = 0 points
To calculate the GPA you will take the report card or transcript. For every A you will add 4 points for each B you will add 3 points, etc. After adding up all your points, you then divide that number by how many letter grades you have. The result will GPA or average phone.
Some schools consider that “plus” and “minus”, such as A + or B-. This will set the stage pretty and they can count on another. Here’s how that situation would be calculated
o A = 4.0
o A = 3.75
o + B = 3.25
B o = 3.0
o B = 2.75
C + o = 2.25
C o = 2
o = C 1.75
o D + = 1.25
o D = 1.0
o F = 0
These schools can also explain how many units were tried. In that case you would take degree level multiplied by the number of units and the result is how many credits you earned. Then the talk and share it with how many credits were tried.
You will want to earn as many points as possible. Even if you are doing in class, it is better that you get a D instead F. zero points from F will hurt you more in the long run and one point from D can really help you a little bit. You will not get any credit for classes you fail and some credit is better than none.
you will always want to try to keep your GPA above 3.0 in high school and above 2.5 in college. If you are having problems in class, continue to keep working as hard as you can. Every class you take in high school or college will be found in your copies. You will want to get a copy of your backups every year to ensure that grades are correct.
