College is the greatest place in the world for those who should go to college and to go for the right reasons. For those who should not or going the wrong reasons, college is a waste of time and money.
First, should not go to college?
-Children parents have no other reason for sending them than they can afford to.
-Children the characters are bad parents believe that college will change them for the better.
-Children who have no other reason to go but to avoid work or have a good time.
-Children who go to school to have a stadium in which to demonstrate athletic ability.
-Children the idea of a university is that it will help them achieve their financial or social success in life.
These children should be kept at home, or they should be sent to the club, vocational or body building organization. It is, or should be a place for them in the organization only excuse for existing is training the mind.
Now, that should go to college? Someone should go to college who has demonstrated both aptitude and desire for more education than he has been able to get in elementary school and high school. And I can add that to deprive the body of a college education because his parents can not afford to give him one to commit an offense not only against a person but also against society as a whole.
You can get a college education if you try. But you must bring three things with you; certain minimum quality intellectual equipment, work habits, and interest in receiving education.
Why go to college? College is a place to learn how to think. College should make a man manly. College Education should accurately train identified for individual happiness and salvation of the world.
